My Philosophy

Whether you or a loved one are struggling with an eating disorder, are newly diagnosed with a medical condition, or have been struggling with an issue for a while, I am here for you and love and enjoy food while becoming your healthiest YOU.  Even though I'm a dietitian, I don't diet... and I don't want you to either!  I apply Intuitive Eating to help my patients get in touch with their hunger and fullness cues, honor their cravings and their bodies, learn to use nutrition knowledge to fit their lifestyles and medical conditions, and actually enjoy eating again (!!).  I also believe in Health at Every Size, which is an approach to becoming as healthy as possible - physically, mentally, and emotionally - regardless of size, weight, or BMI.  Both of these approaches are based on the idea that crash diets and yo-yo dieting often leave us feeling frustrated, confused, and disappointed - when it is the diets that are failing us, and not the other way around.  I want to work with you to achieve your goals for yourself and/or your family to live healthy lives with no food stress.
